I have a legal question about my prior businesses and business partner.
JA: What state are you in? It matters because laws vary by location.
Customer: Ca
JA: What steps have you taken so far?
Customer: ive only talked to an attorney here in Fresno, ca and they were willing to take the case but I needed about $25 to $30 thousand to work the case.
JA: Is there anything else the Lawyer should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.
Customer: Yes, I’ve been disabled since the incidents occurred in 2014. I don’t know if there’s a statute of limitations for this case

It’s been since 2014 when this all occurred I was in bad condition mentally due to my wife asking for a divorce and 50% of all. Is there a statute of limitations in a business case

When we originally formed our third company there was a difference in pay and I agreed to take extra bonuses to catch me up for the difference in pay. My partner never paid me for the difference and he was taking bonuses when I was not.

I am a little better now and can recall most all of the situations. I have document to prove he has done this. I did not know or forgot I had put paperwork away when I found out. Then I stored them at my moms basement and that I recently found with proof.

Thank you for explaining.

Unfortunately, your claim is past any conceivable statute of limitations period.  Sometimes, however, the running of the statute of limitations can be tolled (suspended for a period of time), including in the case of mental incapacity.  In order to prove mental incapacity, you would have to prove that you were incapable of caring for your property, transacting business, or understanding the nature or effects of your acts.

So, if you could get a psychologist or psychiatrist to testify that they have been treating you all these years and that, in their expert opinion, you were incapable of caring for your property, or transacting business, or understanding the nature or effects of your acts, then you might still have a valid claim.

.

Have I given you a satisfactory response?
