The unused dryer sheets have cationic detergents that can cause chemical burns in the oral cavity, pharynx and esophagus. However, almost all of the chemicals are removed in the dryer.

If you want to be extra precautious you can just give him a little drink of milk to flush out his mouth an esophagus, but that is probably overkill.

Almond milk would be fine. Even water would be fine, but normally it has to be something a little exciting to get the to drink on command.
