My 6 year old female pit bull ate a lot of food. The next day she had vomiting and was very down. Today she seems more normal and interested in food and water but is still vomiting bile when she drinks water
JA: I'll do all I can to help. How much did the Pit Bull eat? Do you know her weight?
Customer: She was fed her usual 2 cups of food in the morning but throughout the day she was fed treats and bones and deli ham and steak from ym moms leftovers she weighs about 50lbs
JA: The Expert will know if the Pit Bull will be okay to digest the cups. What's the Pit Bull's name?
Customer: Luna i have tried to give her pumpkin purée but she cannot keep it down either
JA: Is there anything else the Vet should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.
Customer: I don’t think so, she only started after eating so much. She had a very round belly at night and the next day she was sick

Tuesday we definitely over fed her and gave her bones and treats and by the end of the night she was very very round but seemed fine. The next day on Wednesday she had a very large but solid bowel movement and began to vomit food throughout the rest of the day. I only gave her ice water and tried to give her a little bit of pumpkin purée as she seemed interested in it but it came right back out. Today when she drinks a lot of water she also vomits

It sounds her stomach is inflamed and we can help at home with a rice water-boiled rice and then take the water to cool down to the room temperature and then introduce her in a water bowl little and often and if she does not drink a rice water we can give her with a syringe

As her stomach is irritated the ice water and pumpkin is not very helpful

Also you could use the boiled rice and to mix with a bit chicken meat and to give her

I would recommend also 12 hours starving which will help the stomach

Since her stomach is inflamed and irritated would that explain tiny bits of what seems like blood or should I seek more help

This explains her stomach is inflamed very likely from the bones

The starch from the rice covers the stomach inside and works quickly and well-I would give her a rice water and to see if she does not stop vomiting till the morning then I would visit the vet
