Thanks for the information. It is possible that her system is becoming more used to it, and she needs to be on a higher dose. I would talk to your vet about upping the dose. For a dog her size, I would start on 5.4 mg and divide that twice daily at first to see how that helps. The other option would be to talk to them about Cytopoint injections if you have not tried that before. Some dogs have allergies bad enough, that we will keep them on maintenance doses of Apoquel and give a Cytopoint during the bad times of the year for them. Make sure you are bathing a couple of times a week to wash off allergens from the skin. An omega 3 fish oil supplement may help to restore normal skin barrier as well.
