If Parentage has been determined through a child support case, can it be Parentage Petition still be filed?

Response: No, because parentage has already been established through the child support Order:

once a child support office has made the determination, there is no other way to have paternity requested through any filing or way to request a petition to determine that?

Are you contesting paternity?

Was child support established without DNA test?

Kindly provide more information.

Thank you for cooperation.

I did not know at the time that the parentage form sent by Child support was in actuality paternity. At the time, even not knowing that the parentage request was to determine paternity, I believed that the other party was the child's father. As the child has gotten older, it is my belief that the father is not the bio father. Child support was established without a DNA test.

Thank you for the information. You will need to go to Court now to file to dispute the acknowledgement of parentage and request for a DNA test. Pursuant to California Family Code Sections 7575 and 7576, you now have two years from the date of the acknowledgment to do so or forever barred from doing so.

Are all the forms listed at the courts.ca.gov, about 20/21 pages, required? Do all need to be submitted to file the dispute?
