my washer will not go into a rinse cycle. Stops after wash, and won't even rinse in the rinse and spin setting. model #mvwc565fw1
JA: How old is your washer? Have you checked if the drain hose is clogged?
Customer: about 4 years old. the washer drains on the drain and spin cycle.
JA: How long has this been going on with your washer? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Noticed it today. Tried it several times. stopped machine when it would not go further than the wash cycle and reset to rinse and spin.
JA: Is there anything else the Appliance Expert should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.
Customer: no

Hello I would be happy to help you. I'm sorry for your trouble. Have you checked the inlet screens where the water lines screw on too for obstructions? Also is the hot water turned on?

the screen was blocked. should have thought of that since I had some work done on my well today. will try a small load now. the screen itself did not come out like some other hoses I have cleaned. but I was able to spray and clean it with a small brush.

Ok thanks. You can use a small flat screw driver to pop the screen out. This will usually take care of it. If it happens again, the water valve on the washer is faulty and will need to be replaced unfortunately. You will need to order and replace this part number W11038689.  It is fairly easy to replace. Copy and paste this link it will look different but it comes apart the same way.
